Description
This application has been submitted in support of an Official Plan Amendment application submitted in November 2011. Proposed are two condominium apartment buildings of 13 and 12 storeys located on the western portion of the site having a total of 290 dwelling units including 22 live-work units. The maximum building height is approximately 46 metres. These buildings would be connected by a 2-storey lobby and common amenity building. Proposed on the eastern portion of the site are 30 three storey townhouse units in 6 blocks. A total of 360 residential parking spaces are proposed of which 59 would be dedicated for visitors. Parking for the towers would be provided in a multi-level below grade parking garage having 330 spaces and 30 parking spaces would be provided within below grade garages for the townhouses. Access to the site is proposed from a private drivway along the southern portion of the site that is eventually to become a new public road. the associated Official Plan Amendment file is (X-ref: 11 312374 NNY 10 OZ).Update (august 2015) Two buildings are proposed on site. The western building will be 12 storeys high with 242 units and 17,692m2 of gfa. the east building proposes 8 storeys, 154 units and 10,661m2 of gfa. the residential units will be a mix of townhouses and apartments.Approximately 100 of the proposed dwellings will be affordable units with half being ownership and half being rental including 5 townhouse units. The resulting By-law is 1361-2015.213 parking spaces are proposed in a 1-level underground parking garage.A future Draft Plan of Subdivision application will be made to cr ate the public road and municipal park.
