The largest: Alvarez & Marsal Canada Inc., with 275 of its 277 contacts recorded with Dianne Saxe's office.
Method
- Period: the 2022-2026 council term, 15 November 2022 to today. Only communications addressed to a member of council or their staff are counted ("council offices").
- For each client organization, communications with council offices are grouped by member; the main office is the member with the most. An organization is listed when it has at least 100 communications and the main office accounts for at least 90%.
Limitations
- Counts are communications lobbyists recorded in the City of Toronto Lobbyist Registry. Contacts that were not registered are not counted.
- A communication counts toward a council office when the registry names the member or a member of their staff; lobbyTO resolves those names to members.
- A recorded contact shows that a lobbyist reached an office. It does not show what was said, or how the member voted or acted afterwards.
